Stillorgan RFC 3rd XV

Stillorgan RFC 3rd XV currently plays in Division 11 of the Metro League. The squad consists of beginners, veterans and players returning to the sport after an extended absence. This is a super team to join for those who are new to the club and seeking to improve their rugby skills. 

The strong social aspect of the team provides a relaxed environment to learn and improve the basic skills of rugby. Many players from the 3rd XV have progressed within the club, in fact a number of past 1st XV Captains started out with the 3rd XV over the years. 

Training & Matches

From September 2017 training will take place at the all-weather pitches in St. Benildus College (Tuesdays 9pm-10pm and Thursdays 8pm-9pm). For a location map of St. Benildus College please click here.  Matches generally take place on Saturday afternoons.

If you are looking to start or restart playing rugby the third team offers an excellent place to learn the basics or regain your stride.
